2003 – David Leite
American Egg Board (AEB) is pleased to announce that its first culinary writing fellowship at the Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow has been awarded to David Leite of New York City. Mr. Leite (pronounced leet in English, late in Portuguese, and which translated means milk) is an experienced freelance food writer. David has contributed culinary articles to such publications as the Chicago Sun-Times, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post newspapers; Bon Appétit, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Ridgefield and Writer’s Digest magazines; James Beard Foundation publications and such culinary anthologies as Best Food Writing 2001. Join us as David shares thoughts about his career as a freelance food writer and Web designer, the awards he’s won, and his egg writing project.
