Food Writers

Both emerging and experienced food writers are welcome to apply for an American Egg Board fellowship for culinary writing on the creative use of eggs in cooking and/or baking. Each yearly fellow, chosen by professional writers, receives a free one-month's stay in the culinary suite of the Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Classroom Educators, After-School Program Leaders and Cooking School Teachers

If you teach children about food, nutrition, cooking and baking, you'll find educational materials to download here as well as information about a high school-level science program in which eggs are the payload in homemade rockets. Also see Bake for Family Fun Month and the Recipes areas of the Kids and Family Section for recipes children can make with adult supervision. In that section, too, are Fascinating Egg Facts plus information on Easter, Passover and Spring celebrations and Decorated Eggs. The Basic Recipes area of the general recipe section provides step-by-step photos and tips for basic methods of egg cooking.
