and is responsible for computer system maintenance and technical assistance.

Cindy Mc Garrigle
Directly responsible for industry relations and retail marketing activities; supervises materials distribution, state support and compliance programs; AEB-funded USAPEEC export promotions; and AEB-funded UEP animal welfare and environmental programs.

Vice President of Marketing – Kevin Burkum
Directly responsible for consumer advertising program, nutrition/food safety public relations, and website development and maintenance; supervises Foodservice and Consumer Education programs.

Senior National Representative – Howard Helmer
Responsible for initiating national consumer magazine publicity; conducts cooking demonstrations and workshops.

Director of Egg Product Marketing – Elisa Maloberti
Responsible for development and implementation of egg product marketing program; responds to technical food and nutrition questions for food professionals and consumers; and handles requests for food photography.

Director of Foodservice – Alice Heinze
Directly responsible for the development and implementation of foodservice advertising campaigns and promotion activities; coordinates marketing of products from spent fowl; supervises the egg safety program.

Director of Marketing Communications – Open
Responsible for public relations programs that result in positive media coverage for eggs in major media. Oversees AEB's online strategy, and manages the ongoing development and maintenance of AEB websites and blogs. Manages media relations and writes news releases, articles, and radio segments for paid and non-paid placements.

Industry Communications Manager – Ashley Richardson
Coordinates AEB's industry communications activities including News from AEB, press releases, and annual report. Assists with development and production of AEB's retail newsletter, eggstra!, and egg product newsletter, Eggsaminer.

Compliance Manager – Karen Krok
Manages the activities of invoicing and collection of producer assessments and coordinating producer/handler field audits.

Materials Distribution Manager – Mary Ruth Bolda
Responsible for the materials distribution program, including managing inventory, taking orders, and answering all inquiries for promotional materials; oversees the preparation and shipment of orders to customers.

State Promotion Coordinator –
Jacinta Le Donne
Responsible for state support funding program; coordinates programs and materials specifically for state organizations; coordinates Howard Helmer's schedule; organizes annual marketing meeting for states.

Assistant to the President – Phyllis Tarala Summers
Provides administrative support to the President; handles registration and room reservations for AEB Meetings; coordinates all mailings to the Board; and manages university research and fellowship grant program.

Advertising/Foodservice Administrative Assistant – Maryanne Crandell
Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Marketing and Director of Foodservice.

Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Industry Programs, Director of Egg Product Marketing, State Promotion Coordinator, and responsible for answering all incoming phone calls.

Responsible for shipping/mailing of all items from AEB.

Provides assistance to all departments for filing, mailings, copying, collating, etc.

EGG NUTRITION CENTER
|
Executive Director – Donald McNamara, Ph.D.
Overall administration of Egg Nutrition Center; coordination and administration of research grants and fellowships, responsible for egg-related nutrition information program; acts as a spokesperson on egg nutrition and egg safety issues.

Senior Research Scientist – Hilary Shallo Thesmar, Ph.D.
Works on Egg Nutrition Center projects as needed. Frequently speaks and writes on behalf of the Egg Nutrition Center on nutrition and other scientific issues. Director of Egg Safety Center; coordinates AI and Salmonella crisis communication program in conjunction with PR agency; acts as spokesperson for food safety issues. Oversees all good safety research projects on behalf of the American Egg Board and the Egg Safety Center.

Director, Nutrition & Food Safety Education – Marcia Greenblum, M.S., R.D.
Directly responsible for outreach programs for health professionals, the ENC health professional conference exhibit schedule, and the writing and development of educational materials. Responsible for monitoring food industry trends and scientific advancements in the fields of nutrition and food safety, maintaining ENC website including responding to consumer inquiries. Industry liaison to allied health professional organizations and the Canadian Egg Marketing Agency.

Director of Scientific Communications – Jenny Heap, M.S., R.D.
Writes and coordinates the production of Nutrition Close-Up to keep health professionals abreast of emerging nutrition research; attends professional meetings to monitor current nutrition-related issues; develops educational materials for health professionals; reviews ENC materials for accuracy of content and provides editorial assistance in all phases of ENC's health professional communications efforts.

Exhibits Coordinator/Administrator – Phyllis Ford
Responsible for overall coordinating and shipping of all exhibits, mailing of ENC newsletters and educational materials, maintaining ENC accounts receivable records and general administrative duties of the office.
